You can drive with a bulging disc, but you have to be cautious. Sitting for long periods increases spinal pressure, especially in the lower back. I often recommend using a lumbar support cushion and adjusting your seat so your hips and knees stay level. Avoid leaning forward, that’s when the pressure builds the most. Short trips are usually fine, but listen to your body. If driving aggravates your pain, it’s best to address the root cause before it becomes more limiting.
