Who Should Not Do Chiropractic?
There are some people who should approach chiropractic care with caution or avoid certain adjustments altogether. For example, anyone with fractures, advanced osteoporosis, severe spinal instability, or certain types of cancer should be evaluated carefully before treatment. That said, most patients, even those with arthritis, scoliosis, or disc problems, can benefit from gentle, modified chiropractic techniques. We always perform a detailed exam and may use imaging before beginning care to make sure it’s completely safe for you. Chiropractic is all about individualized care. The treatment plan should always fit the person, not the other way around.
