What Does L4-l5 Disc Pain Feel Like?
Pain from the L4-L5 disc usually feels like a dull ache or pressure in the lower back that can radiate down into the buttocks, thigh, or even the leg. Some patients describe it as a “deep pinch” or a burning sensation that worsens when sitting or bending forward. If the disc is pressing on a nerve, you might also feel tingling or numbness in one leg. That’s what we call sciatica, a common result of pressure in that lower lumbar area. Chiropractic adjustments and decompression therapy can relieve that pressure, calm the nerve, and help restore normal motion without the need for injections or surgery.
