What to Expect

We have created a soothing, relaxing atmosphere in our office to help you feel welcome, safe, and well-cared for. When you first come to our office, our front desk staff will verify your insurance benefits to let you know what treatment will cost you as soon as possible. After filling out some brief paperwork (if you choose not to download it and bring it with you), you will see the doctor where we will review your health history, discuss the history of your current problem, and establish what your goals are with chiropractic care. Next, the doctor will perform a detailed exam of your areas of complaint to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. The history and exam help us identify any situation that may warrant a referral to another healthcare provider, and also will help us come up with the best treatment plan to quickly and effectively correct the cause of your problem.

At the end of your initial visit, Dr. Stanley will explain any issues, answer any questions you may have, and then work with you to develop a treatment plan to help you reach your goals as quickly as possible. Unless there is a reason not to, you will receive your first treatment the same day.

The average new patient visit in our office takes around 45 minutes to an hour. Please plan accordingly. You can decrease this amount of time by printing off and filling out your paperwork ahead of time. Paperwork can be downloaded by clicking the link under “New Patient Paperwork.”
