Can A Bulging Disc Heal On Its Own?

Yes, in many cases a bulging disc can heal on its own, but it depends on how much pressure it’s under and what caused it. Discs have a limited blood supply, so they heal slowly, but with proper care they absolutely can recover. When we relieve pressure on the disc through chiropractic adjustments, decompression therapy, and controlled movement, the body can begin to reabsorb the bulge and reduce inflammation. Healing doesn’t mean doing nothing, it means doing the right things. With consistent care, posture correction, and exercise, most disc bulges improve significantly without surgery.
