Does Walking Realign The Spine?
Walking is one of the best low-impact ways to support spinal health, but it doesn’t technically “realign” the spine on its own. What it does do is improve circulation, strengthen stabilizing muscles, and keep the joints moving, all of which support proper alignment. When walking is combined with chiropractic adjustments, it can help your body hold those corrections longer. Think of walking as the movement that reinforces what we do during care, it keeps your spine flexible, balanced, and better aligned naturally. Even just 20–30 minutes of walking a day can make a noticeable difference in how your back feels and moves.
